Lake District - Windermere Lake - Lakeside - Steam Railway - Self Drive Boat - Kirkstone Pass - Ullswater Lake - Aira Force Waterfall
We will depart for Lake District Tour from our pick up points early in the morning and head towards one of the most scenic and breathtaking spots in England. It is a popular holiday destination and it is famous not only for its Lakes, forests and mountains but also for its association with poetry and writings by William Wordsworth and other poets.
1st Day: - On the way to Lake District you will be able to enjoy the scenic views and capture the panoramic stills on to your cameras. We will make our way to the Lake Side which is a beautiful place comprising of Lakeside Pier, Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway and Lakes Aquarium. You can visit the aquarium or you can go for a steam train. The Lakeside Station is at the Lakeside Pier, at the southern end of Windermere. The Aquarium of the Lakes is situated at Lakeside Station, and there is a restaurant on the Pier with panoramic views of Windermere. After spending approximately 2 hours, we will again depart for Lake Windermere.
We will drop you near the longest natural lake in England named Windermere. Here you will have the chance of either going on to the cruise or self drive hire power boat to have a thrilling experience of the lake. The Windermere Lake cruises is the main operator on the Lake, It provides both modern cruisers and vintage steamers. It also offers a 45 minutes circular cruise around Windermere’s Island. Don’t forget to buy a savers ticket and enjoy this marvellous experience.
Once you have enjoyed the cruise and nearby lakefront you will have a chance to go to shopping. There is a beautiful town centre where you can find varieties of shops with different products and fashion trends.
we will head towards our hotel and check-in to our respective rooms to relax and get ready for another exciting day out.
2nd Day: -
After the breakfast in morning, we will check-out from the hotel and head towards another spectacular and thrilling spot. We will travel via one of the most scenic and beautiful route which will give us a chance to view the Kirkstone Pass which is a mountain pass in the Lake District having an altitude of 1,489 feet (454 m) and Ullswater Lake which is the second largest lake in English Lake District and it will accompany us for approximately 14.5 kms. We will stop on these places for few minutes to allow you to take some snapshots with your friends and family amidst beautiful nature.
After that, we will reach Aira Force Waterfall which is probably the most famous of the Lake District Waterfalls. The main force falls 70 feet from below the stone footbridge. Aira Force provides a glimpse of a landscaped Victorian Park with dramatic waterfalls, arboretum and rocks scenery. You will be surely amazed and hypnotized by encountering such a beauty of nature.
We will depart towards London around 4:00PM and aim to reach around 10:00PM.
